WineSneak Wine Education Series

4/29, 4-6 pm - Sensory Evaluation: The How's and What's of Wine Tasting
Description: Black currants, cocoa powder, white flowers, pink peppercorns, old shoe... Wait, how is all this in my wine? What is "minerality" and how can we know what "licking wet rocks" would taste like, anyway?  Expand your wine vocabulary as Certified Sommelier Jenna Congdon helps you to explore and identify many of the popular and favorable aromatic compounds found in wine, like those of plants, spices, and fruits. With olfaction education, industry professionals and consumers alike will become more confident in evaluating and communicating wine quality and features. Class includes a fun and interactive "lecture" paired with a flight of six wines chosen by Wine Director Mary Bradley.
