 Product Description

95 Plus Wine Advocate - One of the top Grenache-dominated efforts produced in the vintage, the 2010 Mavin is comprised of 82% Grenache and 18% Syrah that was aged in 30% new 500-liter barrels. It offers up spectacular notes of red and black fruits, dried licorice, roasted meats, toast and subtle chocolate nuances on the nose. On the palate, this full-bodied effort is brilliantly concentrated and rich, yet stays remarkably graceful and balanced, with nothing out of place and fantastic overall depth. It still has some oak to integrate, so give it another year or two in bottle; it will age effortlessly for 10-15 years. Drink 2015-2025.
